Armstrong Fluid Technology launches new single-phase pumps in the Middle East

Armstrong Fluid Technology, a quantity one innovator in the design, engineering and manufacturing of intelligent fluid-flow and control options, has launched a new version of its Design Envelope pump, particularly to serve in light-duty installations where the available power is single-phase.
Many smaller industrial and residential buildings use single-phase power. The typical method for these functions is usually to put in a low-cost, light-duty circulator. While this meets the appliance necessities, many circulators aren’t repairable, and are designed for just a few years of operation.

The new Single-Phase Design Envelope pumps provide practical and economical options for these installations and are actually out there for single section energy (200–230V) in sizes ranging from 0.25 to 1.5kW.
Kevin Laidler – Sales Director, Middle East and Africa, feedback: ‘These pumps are designed to deliver increased reliability, which in turn helps to cut back costs. Inexpensive are constructed to follow the design normal for commercial pumps, so they are manufactured to final and could be economically repaired.’
As mechanical room piping for light-duty fluid-flow purposes is often put in vertically, the brand new single-phase pumps can be put in and operated in vertical piping.
Compared to standard pumps that usually depend on wall-mounted drives and standard induction motors, Design Envelope pumps provide savings of as much as 30% on working costs by way of:
Adjustable design level and setpoint to match on-site situations
Quadratic stress control curve for max efficiency in variable-speed purposes
Constant flow perform to take care of a exact flow price in recirculation purposes
As with all our Design Envelope pumps, the model new single-phase pump consists of built-in intelligence and connectivity to support Active Performance Management. The subscription-based Pump Manager service permits users to trace pump standing and performance, and will send alerts identifying issues similar to cavitation and dead-head. It additionally enables performance optimization through cloud-based analytics.
