In our specific enviornment, that relates, after all, to the manufacture, distribution and use of pumps and all pump related tools – an enormous and essential subset of industry, given the width and breadth of pump purposes.
Against this backdrop, one of the main issues when figuring out the core themes for the joint convention was to hold up a direct reference to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Within this focus, the three associations intend to highlight how, together with the importance for firms to handle technical features impacting their daily enterprise operations, they consider the optimistic function of business in addressing societal challenges. Indeed, all of the sessions will have a technical theme matching the most appropriate UN SDG, and with illustration from the European Commission together with technical experts from business and/or analysis institutes, they’ll every be reflective of the present legislative terrain, because it relates to pumps and pumping techniques within the following key areas:

The regulatory and legislative panorama across Europe is changing into more and more complex, and business, in all its guises, must be conscious and prepared for what’s coming.
