Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of producing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing house and now employs a hundred and twenty individuals. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing techniques and different new tasks awarded to the corporate.

To have fun the 50-year milestone, the corporate is planning an event at the facility for workers and lengthening its outreach to the neighborhood to educate them on the career opportunities obtainable on the site. “We are in search of folks throughout the Antigo community who want to be part of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” said Greenlund.
The Antigo plant is the largest of four Waukesha Bearings manufacturing sites and is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Waukesha Bearings also has manufacturing facilities within the UK, China and Mexico.
